In May 2018 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Davidson College with a BA, double majoring in Environmental Studies (social science focus) and East Asian Studies. At Davidson I was a John Montgomery Belk Scholar, member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society, and Division 1 Cross Country and Track athlete. Davidson College is a highly selective liberal arts college located in Charlotte, North Carolina that has been ranked #1 school in the South and consistently is in the top 40 schools in the United States by Forbes. Davidson is known for cultivating students to live lives of “leadership and service” through its strong Honor Code, small student-to-faculty-ratio, and emphasis on undergraduate research. Additionally, though Davidson has less than 2,000 students, the Davidson Wildcats compete in NCAA Division 1 athletics in the Atlantic-10 Conference.
